Introduction
Murray & Roberts Cementation invites suitably qualified candidates to apply for the position of Clerk Data Capture to be placed in Venetia Project. The successful candidate will report to the Planner Engineer. The company will provide remuneration and benefits relevant and appropriate to the position. Preference will be given to Historically Disadvantaged South African (HDSA) candidates. Applications only open to South African Citizens / Permanent Residents.
Job description

The successful candidate will be responsible for, but not be limited to:
  • Cost containment through accurate data capturing against source documents
  • Effective self-management and alignment with M&RC values and leadership initiative
  • Effective stakeholder engagement to ensure smooth workflows
  • Efficient, accurate and timeous data capturing and clerical support provided
  • Effective controls to ensure data integrity of captured information and effective record keeping


Minimum requirements

Suitable candidates must possess the following minimum qualifications and skills:



·        Grade 12 or NQF 4 equivalent
·        Relevant Office Administration qualification at NQF Level 4
·        MS Office proficient [Word, Outlook and Excel]
·        Excellent written and verbal communication skills in English




 
Suitable candidates must have the following work experience:



  • At least 2 years’ experience as a data capture in an Mining/Construction Engineering planning department
  • Previous administration experience will be an added advantage
  • Possess basic knowledge of spreadsheets, word processing and databases
  • Possess capacity to work within deadlines and meet them
  • Excellent written and verbal communication
  • Attention to detail
  • Working with people
  • Following instructions & procedures
  • Adhering to principles & values
