Introduction
Murray & Roberts Cementation invites suitably qualified candidates to apply for the position of Senior Clerk Store Picker to be placed in Ivan Plats Platreef Mine, Mokopane, Limpopo . The successful candidate will report to the Supervisor Store. The company will provide remuneration and benefits relevant and appropriate to the position. Preference will be given to Historically Disadvantaged South African (HDSA) candidates. Applications only open to South African Citizens / Permanent Residents.
Job description
The successful candidate will be responsible for, but not be limited to:
· Provide administrative and physical support interms of material movement within the mine store and yard area
· Safely off-load and load materials
· Correctly capture goods received documents on JD Edwards
· GRN Material/equipment received from suppliers
· Update and maintain filing and archiving of GRN documentation
· Assist with stock control and monthly cycle count
· Comply with binning, stacking and packing procedures
· Comply with Health, Safety and Environment policy, standards and procedures
· Maintain good housekeeping standards
· Effective self-management and alignment with M&RC values and leadership initiatives
Minimum requirements
Suitable candidates must possess the following minimum qualifications and skills:
· Grade 12 or NQF 4 equivalent with mathematics
· Certificate in Stores/Warehouse management
· MS office proficient (Word and Excel)
· Exposure to JDE or similar
· Valid Driver`s license
· Fit to physically move, load/offload material and equipment
· Valid Medical certificate of Fitness
· Covid-19 Coronavirus Vaccination Certificate [Site Specific]
· Good English communication skills [Written and verbal]
Suitable candidates must have the following work experience:
· At least 3 years of inbound/Outbound working experience in a stores environment
· Experience processing goods received, logging into a system and taking stock of materials
