Murray & Roberts Cementation invite suitably qualified candidates to apply for the position of Miner General. The successful candidate will report directly to the Shift Supervisor Mining. The company will provide remuneration and benefits relevant and appropriate to the position. Preference will be given to Historically Disadvantaged South African (HDSA) candidates. • Grade 12 or NQF level 4 equivalent
• Blasting Certificate.
• Valid First Aid Certificate

• Good communication skills in English

• At least two-year experience as a miner
• Must have been trained and found competent for the type of mining he/she is requested to do (e.g. declines, shaft sinking, stoping, development, etc.)
• Resourceful problem solver who can work within agreed parameters
