Murray & Roberts Cementation invites suitably qualified candidates to apply for the position of Shaftman Grade 1 to be placed in Venetia Project, near Alldays The successful candidate will report to the Shaftman Grade 3 . • Proactively report shortages to ensure availability of materials / equipment to do the work.
• Plan measure and monitor work performance requirements within allowable cost parameters.
• Be alert and proactive in identifying and communicating equipment deficiencies, problems.
• Be alert and proactive in hazard identifications
• Perform risk assessments prior to commencing work and escalate risks identified

• Onsetters Certificate of Competency
• Drill Rig Operator Certificate of Competency
• Good communication skills in English

• At least 1 year’ mining
• Previous working experience as a Stagehand
• Working in an underground mining environment
• Shaft sinking, equipping and construction experience
• Knowledge of Shaft Concrete Lining, Bank Operation, Concrete Related Work, Batch Plant, Wet Crete Applications, Civil Construction
