Introduction
Murray & Roberts Cementation invites suitably qualified candidates to apply for the position of IT Support Technician II to be placed in Musina,Limpopo. The successful candidate will report to the IT Manager.
The company will provide remuneration and benefits relevant and appropriate to the position. Preference will be given to Historically Disadvantaged South African (HDSA) candidates.

Job description
The successful candidate will be responsible for, but not be limited to:
· Provide basic IT support for all on-site IT services timeously
· Provide basic desktop support to the site including telephone, basic networking, basic site server environment, end –point hardware, printing, e-learning, windows and office suite etc.
· Manage calls logged and resolve within agreed time-frame, escalate if unable to resolve
· Maintain and update asset register
· Enforce IT policies and procedures within area of responsibility
· Proactive IT identification and mitigation with IT standards and safety protocols
· Adhere to M&RC and Clients policies, procedure, standards and procedure
· Prepare and submit progress reports monthly
· Effective self-management in alignment with M&RC values and leadership initiatives
Minimum requirements
Suitable candidates must possess the following minimum qualifications and skills:
· Grade 12
· Relevant Information Technology National Diploma or Degree Valid Driver’s licence
· A and N Certification
· Proficient in Blick or similar Time and Attendance system
· Proficient in MS Office
· Valid Driver’s License
· Planning and organising skills
· Problem rooting and solving skills
Suitable candidates must have the following work experience:
· At least 6 years of experience in an IT support role providing level 1 support
· Experience performing onsite hardware, software, software and peripheral updates and repairs, including LAN installations
· Experience troubleshooting and repairing computer system
