Introduction
Applications are invited from suitably qualified candidates to fill the position of Artisan Boilermaker, to be based at Impala 20 Shaft near Rustenburg, North West. The successful candidate will report to the Foreman Engineering Senior.
Job description
· 1 year's mining industry experience (underground)
· 1 year's trade experience as Boilermaker
· Construction experience (Box Fronts, Bulk heads, Tips and conveyor Belts)
· Reading and interpretation of engineering drawings will be added advantage
Minimum requirements
· Grade 12 or equivalent (NQF4)
· Section 26 Boilermaker Trade Certificate / MIETTB Trade Certificate through a registered body
· Valid Medical certificate of Fitness
· Valid First aid Certificate
· Valid Gas Testing certificate
· Good communication skills in English
· Able to solve problems within agreed standards, policies and procedures
· Team leadership and management skills
· Sound listening communication skills
· Self-motivated self-starter with high levels of initiative
· Able to make decisions within agreed parameters
