Introduction
The Plant & Equipment Administrator will assume responsibility of controlling, planning and organising the fleet and the fleet functions including licensing, insurance, fleet procedures and record keeping whilst following all required safety protocols to protect employees, plant and equipment.
Job description

key responsibilities:
 
·       Ensure vehicles files are kept up to date
·       Ensure all procedures are followed. Transfer notes, wheel register, fluid registers, vehicle checklists
·       Receive vehicles on site, and ensure a complete transfer note and checklist are sent back to the yards, any discrepancies must be highlighted
·       The resource master must be kept up to date
·       Weekly plant report to be sent by Friday, all status of vehicles must be correct as well as breakdown registers
·       Ensure weekly vehicle inspections are carried out correctly
·       Ensure all vehicles are serviced when required and job cards are completed
·       Fuel control, all discrepancies must be investigated 
·       Complete requisition forms for the required parts and ensure these are controlled

Minimum requirements

QUALIFICATIONS:
 
·         Grade 12 (Matric)

EXPERIENCE:
 
·         2-5 years’ experience in Site / Plant Administrator function
·         Knowledge of powerline equipment & tools will be advantageous
·         Computer literate with experience in excel
·         Record keeping experience
