Murray & Roberts Cementation invites suitably qualified candidates to apply for the position of Artisan Boilermaker (shaft sinking) to be placed at Ivan Plats Platreef mine, in Mokopane, Limpopo. The successful candidate will report to the Foreman Engineering. The company will provide remuneration and benefits relevant and appropriate to the position. • Engineering installations are constructed according to agreed standards, procedures and specifications
• Engineering equipment maintained and repaired according to agreed standards and schedules
• Competent, positive and motivated team
• Compliance with SHEQ, MRC and client standards, policies, procedures and safety protocols
• Effective self and team supervision in alignment with MRC values and leadership initiatives
• Effective stakeholder engagement 

• Grade 12 or NQF Level 4 equivalent
• Section 26 Trade Certificate - Boilermaker, MIETTB (mining Industry Engineering Trades Training Board) Trade Certificate through a registered body
• Contract of Apprenticeship signed off by employer and Department of Manpower
• Valid Medical certificate of Fitness

• Valid First aid Certificate
• Valid Code EB driver’s license
• Sound verbal and written communication skills in English

• More than 1 year mining industry experience (Shaft Sinking)
• More than 1 year of trade experience as a Boilermaker
