Applications are invited from suitably qualified candidates to fill the position of Artisan Electrician Mining Services, to be based at the Bentley Park near Carletonville, Gauteng. The successful candidate will report to the Engineering Foreman.

The successful candidate will be responsible for, but not be limited to:

• Effective supervision of team’s daily tasks
• Plan and allocate tasks to team members in line with procedures and quality standards
• Inspect and maintain all lifting equipment in line with OEM standards and M&RC’s standards and safety protocols, report on defective equipment
• Cost containment through effective planning, no rework, availability of spares and equipment
• Identify and follow up on team member’s training
• Self and team understand and comply with M&RC’s standards, policies, procedures and safety protocols
• Proactive risk identification and mitigation, escalate and report timeously
• Effective self and team management and alignment with M&RC’s values and leadership initiatives
• Will be required to work away from home and across borders
