Murray & Roberts Cementation invites suitably qualified candidates to apply for the position of Driver EC to be placed in Bentley Park near Carltonville, Gauteng. The successful candidate will report to the Shift Supervisor Raise Drilling. The company will provide remuneration and benefits relevant and appropriate to the position. Preference will be given to Historically Disadvantaged South African (HDSA) candidates. Applications only open to South African Citizens / Permanent Residents.

The successful candidate will be responsible for, but not be limited to:

•         Transportation and loading support mainly for material / equipment movement within a prescribed area.
•         Complete log books and checklists accurately
•         Delivery and collection of goods and documents
•         Complete log books and checklists accurately
•         Adhere to correct load distribution
•         Report vehicle abuse, defects timeously
•         Vehicles are clean and maintained to standard
•         Work in line with safety regulations and M&RC's policies, standards and procedures
•         Responsible for the safety of employees within area of responsibility
•         Be prepared to sometimes work outside of normal working hours
•         Effective self-management in alignment with M&RC’s values
