Introduction
Cementation Africa invites suitably qualified candidates to apply for the position of Artisan Boilermaker to be placed in IvanPlats ,Platreef Mine. The successful candidate will report to the Mokopane.
The company will provide remuneration and benefits relevant and appropriate to the position. Preference will be given to Historically Disadvantaged South African (HDSA) candidates.

Job description
The successful candidate will be responsible for, but not be limited to:
- Engineering installations are constructed according to agreed standards, procedures and specifications
- Engineering equipment maintained and repaired according to agreed standards and schedules
- Competent, positive and motivated team
- Compliance with SHEQ, MRC and client standards, policies, procedures and safety protocols
- Effective self and team supervision in alignment with MRC values and leadership initiatives
- Effective stakeholder engagement
Minimum requirements
Suitable candidates must possess the following minimum qualifications and skills:
• Grade 12 or NQF Level 4 equivalent
• Section 26D or Section 13 Trade Certificate - Boilermaker, MIETTB (Mining Industry Engineering Trades Training Board) Trade Certificate through a registered body
• Contract of Apprenticeship signed off by employer and Department of Manpower
• Valid Medical certificate of Fitness
• Valid First aid Certificate
• Valid Code EB driver’s license
• Sound verbal and written communication skills in English
• Section 26D or Section 13 Trade Certificate - Boilermaker, MIETTB (Mining Industry Engineering Trades Training Board) Trade Certificate through a registered body
• Contract of Apprenticeship signed off by employer and Department of Manpower
• Valid Medical certificate of Fitness
• Valid First aid Certificate
• Valid Code EB driver’s license
• Sound verbal and written communication skills in English
Suitable candidates must have the following work experience:
• More than 5 years mining industry experience (shaft sinking and equipping)
• More than 5 years of trade experience as a Boilermaker
• Have knowledge on shaft legal requirements/appointment and winding plants
• Ability to read and interpret manufacturing and installation drawings (basic to intermediate)
• Ability to erect steel according to a drawing (basic to intermediate
