Applications are invited from suitably qualified candidates to fill the position of Safety Officer, to be based at Dishaba Mine near Thabazimbi, Limpopo. The successful candidate will report to the Project Manager Raise Drilling.

The successful candidate will be responsible for, but not be limited to:

• Effective cost control through efficient safety management practices
• Effective self-management in alignment with MRC values and leadership initiatives
• Effective stakeholder engagement to ensure smooth workflows
• Accurate, timely completion of Safety Officer's Inspection and Logbook
• Accurate, timely, thorough investigations of incidents / accidents
• Proactive risk mitigation and compliance
