Job description
The successful candidate will be responsible for, but not be limited to:
• Engineering installations are constructed according to agreed standards, procedures and specifications
• Maintain, repair, overhaul, erect, dismantle and construct engineering structures according to agreed standards and schedules
• Maintain hoist ropes, rigging tools and equipment, lifing facilities and structures according to standards and procedures
• Cost containment, no rework, availability of equipment, work to OEM specifications
• Compliance with SHEQ, M&RC and client standards, policies and procedures
• Proactive risk mitigation and compliance
• Competent, motivated and positive team
• Stakeholder engagement to ensure smooth workflows
• Effective self-management and alignment with M&RC values and leadership initiatives
Minimum requirements
• Valid driver's licence
• Valid first aid certificate
• Analytical and attentive to detail
• Team leadership and management skills
• Sound listening and communication skills
• Ability to read and interpret drawings
• Able to make decisions within agreed parameters
• Sound learning agility and able to adapt to new technologies
• Job planning skill
• 10 year's trade experience as a Rigger
• Advanced knowledge of winder ropes [preferred]
• Advanced knowledge of heavy lifting requirements [preferred]
• Tip construction(
• Extensive rope tensioning experience
