Cementation Africa invites suitably qualified candidates to apply for the position of Drill Master (Without B/Cert) to be placed in Tharisa Mine. The successful candidate will report to the Developer. The company will provide remuneration and benefits relevant and appropriate to the position. The successful candidate will be responsible for, but not be limited to:

·        Effective planning and organising of materials and equipment ensuring no wastage

·        Execution of effective drilling and development to ensure daily production targets are met

·        Effective planning, organising, leading and control within area of responsibility

·        Effective supervision of drill rig operators to ensure adherence to work schedule

·        Be alert and proactive in identifying and communicating equipment deficiencies

·        Monitor and report on consumables used (bits, rods in R/m and shank and coupling usage)

·        Effective self and team management in alignment with Cementation Africa values

·        Compliance with SHEQ, Cementation Africa and Client standards, policies and procedures
