Introduction
Murray & Roberts Cementation invites suitably qualified candidates to apply for the position of Miner General to be placed in Impala Mine ,near Rustenburg,North West . The successful candidate will report to the Shift Supervisor Mining.
The company will provide remuneration and benefits relevant and appropriate to the position. Preference will be given to Historically Disadvantaged South African (HDSA) candidates.

Job description
The successful candidate will be responsible for, but not be limited to:
- Safe, incident-free achievement of production targets

Minimum requirements
Suitable candidates must possess the following minimum qualifications and skills:
- Grade 12 or NQF 4 equivalent· Blasting Certificate of competency
- Valid First Aid Certificate
- Medical Certificate of Fitness
- Team management skills
- Organisational skills
- Good communication skills in English
Suitable candidates must have the following work experience:
- 1 Years’ experience as a Learner Miner
- Must have been trained and found competent with the relevant experience in equipping, drop raising.
- Resourceful problem solver who can work within agreed parameters
