Applications are invited from suitably qualified candidates to fill the position of Artisan Electrician, to be based at the Cooke 1 Shaft near Westonaria, Gauteng. The successful candidate will report to the Engineering Foreman.

The successful candidate will be responsible for, but not be limited to:

• Effective supervision of team’s daily tasks
• Plan and allocate tasks to team members in line with procedures and quality standards
• Inspect and maintain all equipment in line with OEM standards and M&RC’s standards and safety protocols, report on defective equipment
• Cost containment through effective planning, no rework, availability of spares and equipment
• Identify and follow up on team member’s training
• Self and team understand and comply with M&RC’s standards, policies, procedures and safety protocols
• Proactive risk identification and mitigation, escalate and report timeously
• Effective self and team management and alignment with M&RC’s values and leadership initiatives
